Bird and insect boxes

To encourage as much beneficial wildlife as possible, we have installed protective housing.

The insect boxes house ladybirds, which are highly skilled predators of plant destroying aphids.

Other insects attract multiple species of birds, and we have made special provision for Barn Owls and Kestrels by installing nest boxes to provide sanctuary for these increasingly rare species.
